Discovery Place Science is thrilled to announce a one-of-a-kind photo contest!
This is your chance to have your dog featured in our marketing campaign for the highly anticipated exhibit, Dogs! A Science Tail, opening on February 3, 2024.
Contest Timeline
- Start Date: Thursday, November 2, 2023
- End Date: Friday, November 24, 2023, at 5 p.m. EST
How to Enter
- Snap a Pic: Take a high-resolution, digital photo of your dog. Make sure it's in focus and good enough to be featured on our website. One entry per household.
- Tell Us Your Story: Write a few sentences about why your dog should be named one of the Dogs of Discovery Place. We're particularly interested in the special bond between you and your furry friend.
- Submit: Upload your photo and story.
Guidelines
- Dogs Only: Photos should feature only your dog—no humans, please.
- Natural Beauty: No costumes, hats, or anything that obscures your dog's face and body.
Judging
Entries will be evaluated by a committee of Discovery Place employees. We encourage dogs of all ages, abilities, breeds, and personalities to enter!
People's Choice Award
In addition to the winners chosen by Discovery Place, there will be a People’s Choice award for the dog that receives the most online votes. Be sure to vote for your favorite and share with your friends and family!
